An organization of 42 highly esteemed academic medical centers across the US. The mission is to help transform medicine and healthcare through rigorous scientific studies, new models of clinical care, and innovative educational programs that integrate biomedicine, the complexity of human beings, the intrinsic nature of healing and the rich diversity of therapeutic systems. Many of the Consortium’s academic medical centers offer clinical services.

A national nonprofit membership organization representing hospice and palliative care programs and professionals. The organization is committed to improving end-of-life care and expanding access to hospice care with the goal of enhancing quality of life for people dying and their loved ones.


National Council on the Aging — BenefitsCheckUp

The National Council on the Aging developed BenefitsCheckUp — a comprehensive Web-based service to screen for benefits programs for seniors with limited income and resources. Benefits include health care, energy/utility assistance, tax relief, prescription drug benefits, food, housing, transportation, and more.
