Here to Serve gives cancer families more time At Home to focus on the ones they love.

Our Mission

We know that time with your child is the number one priority throughout the cancer journey. We exist to ensure that families have the in-home resources and support they need to spend more time focusing on the ones they love.

Even though only .001% of all cancer funds raised support families directly, more than 60% of the cancer journey happens at home without support, causing families to face physical, emotional, and financial burdens. We provide comprehensive in-home care and services to support families at every stage of their cancer journey.

Our Vision

We envision a world where all families with children going through cancer, regardless of income level, are supported outside of the hospital and empowered to focus on caring for their loved ones throughout their entire cancer journey, with the hope of delivering more positive outcomes.

Our Story

In 2011 our founder Katie Quintas found herself navigating cancer when both her son and husband were diagnosed a few months apart. After witnessing the massive gap in care and support for families outside of the hospital, and the physical, emotional, and financial impact it had on her family, she knew that something needed to be done. Here to Serve was created to provide comprehensive care and services to support the everyday challenges and in-home needs of families with children navigating cancer, allowing caregivers to remain emotionally and financially intact while keeping focused on their loved ones.
